ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES:
• From October 1985 until April 1988, I was  engaged  in the erection and installation of a  power system simulation laboratory at the faculty of engineering  in Shoubra , dedicated  to the study of the modeling ,analysis and control of power network in both its analogue,  hybrid and digital forms labeled  "  Power System simulation laboratory"; andapproved by the Faculty Council ,and I was assigned the  academic and technical supervision of this  lab. (Position maintained to date).

• Yearly involved in assisting students to engage in some constructive practical  B.Sc. final year projects such as:
The use of analogue computer for the simulation of the governor effect in power system under transient condition (1985/86-power group).
In this project a general purpose analogue computer was built, programmed and patched for solving the problem in question.
The use of analogue computer for the simulation of the automatic voltage regulator in power systems under transient condition (1986/87 power group).
Microprocessor control in power system to simulate the action of both voltage and speed control (1987-88 power group).
Reactive power control in power system using microprocessor (1988/89).
Microprocessor controls to optimize the performance of solar cell array (1988/89).
Power factor improvement in power system using microprocessor (1989/90).
Microprocessor antenna control for tracking satellites (1989/90-Communication group).
Adoption of digital techniques in the on line measurement of power factor (1990/91 power group).
A computer driven drilling machine for PCB (1990/91 communication Group).

• Since 2000 I was engaged in projects related to the electrical installations and distribution in large buildings, resorts, offices, condominium, hospitals, tourist villages etc….

• In 1994: was appointed by the dean of faculty consultant to all electrical installations in the faculty of engineering.

• 1995-1996: started the design and installations of the faculty multimedia laboratory for teaching purpose and was assigned Technical director to the project.

• 1996-1998: set the system configuration for an electronic archiving system for three    administration   departments of the Zagazig University.

• In 1997, designed the electrical sound distribution system for the Zagazig university main theater to meet public address, musical concerts and conferencing requirements with multi-lingual instant translation system and supervised all execution stages.

• In 1997, I was assigned the task of designing and supervising the construction work of a Computer Controlled Stage Theatrical Illumination System of the main theater at the Zagazig University to meet all requirements for professional theatrical presentation.

• In 2003 I was assigned the task of redesigning the multimedia laboratory into The e-learning unit .this work was completed in the month of April 2004 when I was appointed by the faculty dean Technical Director to the unit.

In 2004, I was assigned the task of design construction and supervision over the renovation

project of the ‘'Hanging Church'' project for audio, video, interpretation, security and control systems on behalf of the ORASCOM company.

• In May 2005 I was appointed by the University Principal Technical Manager of the project entitled "Development of the Information Network Infrastructure Benha University" funded by the  Information and Communication Technology Project
 ( ICTP)  of the Ministry of Higher Education.

• In July 2005 I was appointed by the University Principal Member of the Project Management Development Unit of Benha University.

• In September 2005 I was appointed by the Chairman of the National Committee of the ICTP, the   membership of the ICTP Board of Directors.

• In March 2006 I was appointed by the University Principal Member of the Council of Director of the "General Service Center for Computer Systems and Information Technology "of the Benha University.

• In September 2006, I was assigned the Manager to the HEEPF project entitled "Enhancing High Voltage Engineering and Power Systems Education Using Software Packages in a LAN "(project code: B-O7O-T1).

• Since 2006 I was engaged in transforming  four of the  courses that I am actually teaching, from the conventional hard copy text form  into  the e-learning form, as part of the output required from the HEEPF project mentioned above, these courses are entitled :
1.Power systems analysis 
2.Selected topics in power systems
3.Modeling of power system components and controllers 
4. Analysis of electric circuits    
For the purpose of developing a more comprehensive approach to the teach methodologies of the modeling, analysis of power systems and the relevant methods applicable to the enhancement of  the effectiveness of their controllers .

• In February 2007 I joined the teaching staff of faculty of engineering MTI University on a part time basis in the electrical engineering department as a teaching member.

• In August 2007 was appointed consultant of the rail road and trafficking to the team of consultants of the City of New Giza were I spent about a year designing the required tram way serving the city. 

• In February 2008 I had to travel to the Chzeck Republic to study and commission the tram cars and railway system for the project.

• In June 2008 I was appointed by the Saideco Company for a designing the electrical power system and its auxiliaries of the High Court Tribunal building situated in 26        July St. and presented the final project in October 2008. 

• In February 2008 I joined the teaching staff of faculty of engineering MTI University on a full time basis in the electrical engineering department as a teaching member. 

• In December 2010 I was appointed ‘Head of Control Engineering and Bio Electronics Department’  and still holding that post to date.

• In February 2016 I was appointed Link Coordinator with the University of Wales on behalf of the Faculty of Engineering MTI University.

CREDENTIALS:
• Read, write and speak fluently English and French languages as well as the native language Arabic.
