Counterfeit drugs are fake drugs. It may be contaminated or contain the wrong or no active ingredient. They could have the right active ingredient but at the wrong dose.

Therefore, the Faculty of Pharmacy held a seminar for its students to raise their awareness about Counterfeit drugs and suggested solutions to prevent counterfeit.

Dr. Mohy Mohamed Hafez and Dr. Mohamed Sebawae were invited to be the keynote speakesr in the seminar.

The seminar was under patronage of Prof. Dr. Ali El-Shamy the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy - MTI University

The seminar was instructed by Prof. Hossam El-Din Arafa the Head of Pharmacology & Toxicology Department - MTI University.
