Under
the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Taher El Mayah, Dean of the Faculty of Computers
and Artificial Intelligence, the Faculty launched the preliminary activities of
the “Neural Clash” Competitions allocated to the Faculty’s senior students. The
competition blended both strategic planning with quick- wittedness.
Twelve
(12) qualifiers participated in the finals, with 10 minutes for each competitor
and the interviews were distributed according to the General Rating system to ascertain
the highest levels of compatibility and parity
between competitors.
The
events were held under the supervision of the leaders of “Awesome” Students
Group at the Faculty.
The preliminaries witnessed exceptional
participation and thorough follow up by our fellow students, and the assisting
staff who are responsible for supporting all the mental and sports’ activities.
Indeed, this reflects the Faculty’s sustainable keenness and commitment to
encouraging the students’ initiatives and the spirit of fair competition.
After
several rounds that were characterized by the competitors’ sharpness of mind
and parity, four competitors finally qualified for the following round that will
be held later to determine the first and second ranks winners.
On this occasion, The Faculty administration wishes the qualifiers the best of luck.
