Activities on the First Day of MTI's Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence Fifth Annual Scientific Conference

Under the supervision of Prof. Olfat Kamel, President of Modern University for Technology and Information (MTI), the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence held the activities of the first day of the Faculty's Fifth Annual Scientific Conference entitled "The Synergy between Cyber Security & Artificial Intelligence".

The conference's opening session started at (11) pm., on Wednesday, corresponding to April 1^st, 2026, in lecture hall no. (L3).

The proceedings of the session included the speeches of Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence top specialists and experts, such as:

-    Dr. Mohamed Ezzat Elhamahmy, Senior Expert at the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) which is affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and former Assistant Chief of the Egyptian Military Intelligence.

-   Dr. Akram Said, Director of Cyber Security Defense at Cyber Horse Co., one the most prominent corporations, operating in this field.

The opening proceedings were preceded by a demonstration of the outstanding graduation projects for the academic year 2024/2025 that were presented by the Faculty's assisting staff members and given the attendees tribute.

This conference was notable for its valuable scientific and academic insights, and rich academic recommendations on the personal privacy on social media platforms, and ways of addressing the cyber security risks. In addition, the conference's participants shared their academic and scientific perspectives in this regard.
