As part of the Faculty of Management
and Business Intelligence, MTI University's efforts to prepare academically and
culturally knowledgeable and innovative generations, increase the national and
civilization-associated awareness among students, and instill academia,
history, culture, and Egyptian identity integration. Also, in light of the
Faculty's administration directives to enhance the students various skills, a
cultural-educational visit was made to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), on
Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.
This visit was carried out with the
aim of acquainting the students with one of the world's immense cultural and
civilization edifices in order to increase the students awareness of the
importance of Egypt's Heritage, highlighting the heritage's role in boosting
national identity and belonging, reinforcing general literacy among students,
as well as enriching their knowledge through direct interaction with Egypt's
tremendous ancient treasures and antiques.
The visit aims at promoting the
students sense of civilization, in addition to their ability to engage
personally with world cultural landmarks that reflect Egypt's sophisticated historical
and cultural status around the world. This is particularly important since GEM
enjoys a considerable international prestige as one of the largest ventures on
the cultural, tourism, and international levels, emphasizing the state's
magnificent history and firm leadership.
The events not only addressed the
cultural and academic aspects, however the Faculty's persistence to encourage innovation and
excellence among students was evident through the organization of the "Best
Lens" competition which provided the students with golden
opportunities to document GEM's majestic architecture and civilization using
their cameras.
It is worth mentioning that student /
Mariam Amr won the "Best Lens" award for her splendid
photos captured throughout the visit.
On this occasion, the Faculty would
like to extend its sincerest congratulations to the participating students on
their discipline, decency, and enthusiasm, reflecting the Faculty's students'
honorable image and stressing the necessity to constantly hold such meaningful
educational and cultural events, particularly as they contribute to reinforcing
the students talents and increasing their awareness of culture and
civilization.
