The General Union of Arab Producers launches the fifth edition of the Media Sciences Festival

In an atmosphere filled with creativity and excellence, the General Union of Arab Producers launched the fifth edition of the Media Sciences Festival, organized annually in order to showcase the innovative artistic works of the students of the Egyptian Universities' Faculties of Mass Communication.

The Festival was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Sami El-Sherif, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, MTI University, with the festival's fifth edition featuring the notable participation of (28) Mass Communication Faculties and Media Departments, whose students competed in (12) diverse media categories.

Winners of the (First, Second, and Third) places were honored and awarded money prizes, in addition to appreciation certificates in recognition of their distinction.

The participating Faculties' Deans and head of departments were also given tribute alongside the following guests of honor, including the academic staff, media professionals, and artists:

-            Prof. Hassan Emad Mekkawy

-            Mega Star/ Maged El Masry

-            Broadcaster / Reham Aiaad

The honorary shields and appreciation certificates were delivered by

-                 Dr. Ibrahim Abou Zekry – Chairman of the General Union of Arab Producers.

-                 Prof. Sami El-Sherif – Chairman of the Media Sciences Festival.

This event was held under the supervision of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Modern University for Technology and Information (MTI), in collaboration with The General Union of Arab Producers.

On the sidelines of the festival "Sdeed" Platform, which is one of the Islamic Universities League affiliates, announced a free training course to be offered to the winning students on the "Application of AI Tools in Media Content Creation", noting that students will obtain completion certificates for this course.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Mass Communication, MTI University would like to extend its sincerest congratulations to all winners, wishing them more success and progress.
