In recognition of the importance of preserving cultural
identity and heritage, the Integrated Marketing Communications Department's students
presented an exceptional graduation project entitled "Ahyiha
", the Arabic translation of the English term "Revive It".
The project aims at reviving interest in archaeological
and historical sites, as well as deepening the connection of new generations
with them by employing latest technological means.
The project applied the Virtual Reality (VR) technology
to create an interactive experience that enables the audience to explore
archaeological landmarks in an innovative manner, thus contributing to
highlighting their cultural and historical value and grandeur, and encouraging
their discovery and preservation as an authentic part of the Egyptian heritage.
This project reflects the students' ability to apply
modern technology to serve cultural awareness raising and heritage preservation
issues.
