The Department
of Basic Sciences at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, MTI University launched
the events of the Students Training Summer Camp, which represents an
unprecedented experience, integrating academic knowledge and practical
applications. The summer camp will be held over the course of (5) days of new experiences.
A beneficial workshop entitled ““Injury Reduction” was held by Dr. Ahmed Bayoumy, on the
identification of the injuries reduction’s causes and assessment methods for an
effective prevention and reduction.
Also, a students’ competition was held -as part of the first day-
to maximize the benefit of these events.
However, the events were not only confined to the theoretical part;
a great emphasis was also given to the practical aspect as the students held a
tour to the Isokinetic
& Biomechanics Lab, to learn more about the devices and their usage
specifications, and interpret and analyze the relevant extracted reports to
help them assess different cases more accurately and professionally.
This was just the start…
more distinctive experiences, challenges, and practical practices are to come!
The events were held under the supervision of:
§ Prof.
Naguib Salem – Dean
of the Faculty.
§ Prof.

§ Prof. Samia Abdelrahman – Vice Dean for Community
