Two weeks of free training for students of journalism and electronic publishing at Al-Gomhouria newspaper

Under the auspices of A. Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, Dean of the College, and Dr. Iman Arafat, Head of the Department of Journalism and Electronic Publishing, students of the Journalism Department, today, Sunday, made a field visit to Al-Jumhuriya newspaper, during which they learned about the newspaper’s sections and the journalistic work procedures in the various sections.

During the visit, Mr. Abdel Razek Tawfiq, editor-in-chief of Al-Jumhuria, agreed to host journalism students for training in the arts of journalistic work for a week during the upcoming mid-year vacation, free of charge, to practice the arts of journalistic work practically in all journalistic departments.

Professor Abdel Nabi Al-Shahat, editor-in-chief of the Al-Jumhuriya Online website, also agreed to host the department’s students for another week during the mid-year vacation for practical training in journalistic writing skills for websites and how to upload news to the website.
