This film sheds
light on cultural alienation and its deep impact on individuals' identity, and
their sense of community belonging. The project highlights the conflict between
preserving authentic cultural roots and being attracted to foreign patterns and
values that may weaken the sense of national identity.
In this
context, "Zamra" institution is established as an inspiring and
emerging model that aims to enhance belonging and consolidate Egyptian identity
among new generations by providing diverse cultural and educational activities
and programs.
The film's main
message emphasizes that cherishing one's cultural identity is not merely a choice;
but rather it represents the underlying component of social cohesion and the
continuation of national memory.
