MTI University Signs a Research Cooperation Protocol with Smart Systems Corporation

Within the framework  of MTI University's strategy to strengthen cooperation with leading institutions in fileds of technology and artificial intelligence, the University held a signing ceremony for a research cooperation protocol with Smart Systems Corporation, one of the leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence.

 The protocol aims at supporting innovation, promoting applied scientific research, and developing advanced technological solutions that serve the society and keep up with the digital transformation requirements.

Prof. Hazem Abdelrahman Khamis, the University’s Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, signed the protocol on behalf of Prof. Olfat Ali Kamel, MTI University Presiden, with the notable presence of Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, the Faculty’s Vice Dean, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, as well as the Chairman of Board of Smart Systems Corporation and other representatives and leaders of the corporations.

This biliteral cooperation tragets the establishment of a strategic partnership between the University's various Faculties and the Corporation through joint research projects in the fileds of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the creation of an advanced research and development environment, and the reinforcment of digital transformation efforts, in order to contribute to the development of innovative solutions with remarkable practical impact.

The cooperation also focuses on conducting diverse training programs, workshops, and specialized scientific seminars, as well as providing opportunities for students, researchers, and Faculty members to participate in research and applied projects. This will help prepare qualified academic and research staff, equipped with the skills needed to keep up with the rapid developments in the filed of artificial intelligence.

On this ocassion, MTI University emphasizes that this protocol represents an important step towards expanding cooperation with leading institutions in the technology sector, with the aim of supporting the scientific research and innovation systems, linking their outcomes to industry and labor market needs, in addition to contributing to acheiving the sustainable development goals, and building up a knowledge-based economy.
