The Faculty of Physical Therapy organizes the second scientific day of the Students’ Training Summer Camp

As part of the efforts exerted to enhance the academic programs and cope up with the labor market requirements, the Faculty of Physical Therapy and the Department of Basic Sciences organized the Department’s second scientific day of the Students’ Training Summer Camp under the main title of:

"Acupuncture for Back Pain."

 The start of the day was marked by the illustration of the theoretical part, and was followed by the practical part as  a lecture was delivered by Dr. Mahmoud Shaaban, an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Basic Sciences, at MTI University. This lecture included the students’ comprehensive practical applications using acupuncture needles, while considering all aspects of safety and infection prevention.

This scientific day was organized under the supervision of:

§  Prof. Naguib Salem – Dean of the Faculty.

§  Prof. Azza Fekry – Vice Dean for Student and Education Affairs.

§  Prof. Samia Abdelrahman – Vice Dean for Community Service and

§  Environmental Development Affairs.

§  Assoc. Prof. Reham Mohamed Abdelrehim – Head of Basic Sciences Department.

The day’s events were overseen by the department head, and Dr. Fatima Elzahraa, a member of the coordinating team.
