Working in the chemical and biological sciences, including university teaching and research, is a hazardous endeavor. At universities, chemical and biological materials, equipment, and expertise can be targeted by those who would misuse them to harm others. Individuals at all levels have a role in making sure that chemical and biological safety and security best practices are followed. The United States Department of State, Chemical Security Program, in cooperation with the Modern University for Technology and Information (MTI) and Sandia National Laboratories, is hosting a three days workshop to cover chemical and biological risk management.
The workshop has been tailored for the staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
