The closing session was convened within the framework of the DTCI 2026
Conference on "Digital Transformation & Competitive Intelligence
in Financial and Business Organizations", held at
the Faculty of Management and Business Intelligence, Modern University
for Technology and Information (MTI).
The session occurred in the presence of the

The conference's closing session demonstrated a rich scientific output
of the covered and proposed presentations of all axes. These contributions accentuate the importance of
the integration of Digital Transformation and Competitive Intelligence with
regard to supporting institutions' sustainability and raising their efficiency
to face any future challenges.
Within this scope, the session suggested the following
recommendations:
§ First: Strengthening the role of
Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in supporting the
business environment, thus contributing to the achievement of sustainable
development aims and the advancement of the national economy.
- Second: Developing Competitive
Intelligence systems within organizations to support decision-makers and
build knowledge-based and data-driven strategies.
- Third: Increasing investment in human resources through
training and development of staff in the fields of Digital Transformation
and Modern Technologies.
- Fourth: Promoting the culture of organizational
innovation and encouraging creativity and experimentation within
institutions, in ways that support the enhancement of the institutional
performance.
- Fifth: Activating integration of academic and
professional sectors to connect both the scientific research outputs and
labor market requirements.
- Sixth: Developing novel performance indicators for the constant
measurement of digital performance, in addition to the analysis of its
impact on organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Seventh: Merging Digital Transformation concepts and Modern
Technologies into academic curriculum for the qualification of the graduates
to meet the demands of the digital labor market.
- Eighth: Developing the academic curriculum so as to prepare
the graduates for the transition from traditional roles to the data driven
analytical and strategic roles.
- Ninth: Processing data as a strategic asset and
developing mechanisms for the measurement of its value and its inclusion into
the cognitive assets of organizations.
- Tenth: Evaluating the applied state-of –the –art
technologies, determining the appropriate methods for their depreciation, while
keeping up with their rapid development to ensure the accuracy of the financial
statements.
- Eleventh: Reinforcing the role of the administrative
accountants as strategic partners in supporting the decision-making
process through by providing and analyzing the data.
- Twelfth: Improving the auditing profession to create a
model of continuous auditing which draws on modern technologies such as
Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, and Smart Contracts.
- Thirteenth:
Strengthening communication between the business community and academic
institutions through holding joint conferences and scientific events.
Fourteenth: Advancing research methodologies and statistical
approaches by prioritizing the quantitative modeling and econometrics.
