The Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Engineering Expanded Cooperative Meeting

Under the supervision of Prof. Hoda Zaki, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, MTI University, an expanded meeting was held to discuss the ways of cooperation with the Department of Medical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering. The meeting was held in light of the Universities pursuit towards the integration of technologies and medical services.

A variety of innovative projects conducted by the Faculty of Nursing's students in several modernized areas of research were explored on the sidelines of this event, reflecting the sophisticated ideas concerning the provision of advanced healthcare.

The two MTI Faculties agreed to open up new avenues for students to collaborate on the scientific projects level, with the significant contributions of the engineering experts in:

-          Transferring the innovative nursing care into executable technological models and applications.

-          Upgrading the necessary devices and equipment to best serve the nursing process and improve the patients' quality of life.

-          Promoting a teamwork spirit among the students of both Faculties with the aim of devising smart healthcare solutions.

We profoundly believe that this integration between the "humanitarian aspect of nursing" and the "accuracy of medical engineering" paves the way towards a better and more developed healthcare.
