In an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and positive energy, the first-year students of the Faculty of Engineering, MTI University have gone through a special experience as the Faculty launched the events of the Welcome Day 2026 which was organized by IEEE MTI Student Branch team.

The Welcome Day 2026 was more than just an exceptional orientation event to get to know each other, but it also marks the first step taken in the students’ University life.

Prof. Reham Momtaz, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Hanan Fouad, the Faculty’s Vice Dean for Student Affairs, were among the first Faculty members to receive the students, closely communicate with them, and provide them with all the needed details about University life, as well as giving them precious advice and instructions so as to promote excellence among them from their first day at the Faculty.

Here is your complete guide to choose the right specialization

Since a proper beginning requires a clear vision and sharp insight, the Faculty members provided an in-depth introduction to all its Specializations and Scientific Departments, illustrating the nature of each department in addition to the relevant future career opportunities. This is to help our new colleagues make an appropriate decision when choosing the academic specialization that meets their professional ambitions and aspirations.

A quick tour was made to check the laboratories and workshops. The Welcome Day 2026 events were concluded by several entertaining activities, games, and interactive challenges that really broke the ice and captured the first moments together.

On this occasion, the Faculty would like to extend its regards to all its students, looking forward to witnessing their success and achievement throughout their upcoming years of study.

We wish you a happy and successful academic year!
