The Faculty of Physical Therapy at Modern University organized a scientific day for the Department of Physical Therapy for Pediatric Diseases and Surgery in collaboration with the Health Professions Learning Center, attended by a large number of students and faculty members, as well as a group of senior professionals and leaders in the field
The event was attended by Prof. Naguib Salem, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Azza Fikra, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Samia Abdel Rahman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Sami Saad, Head of the Physical Therapy Association, Prof. Nabil Al-Ajuz, former Head of the Neurology Department at Al-Azhar University, and Dr. Amira Al-Tohamy, Head of the Medical Sector for Physical Therapy at the Supreme Council of Universities
The scientific day included several lectures and workshops that addressed the latest developments in the field of treating children's diseases and injuries, the most prominent techniques and methods used in diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation, as well as the exchange of experiences and expertise among participants
At the end of the day, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy honored distinguished figures in the field of physical therapy for children in recognition of their contributions to the advancement of the profession and service to the community, and thanked all those who contributed to the success of this scientific event
Salem emphasized the importance of organizing such events, which contribute to raising the level of communication and interaction between students and professors at the College of Physical Therapy, encourage the continuous updating of knowledge and skills, and highlight the role of the College of Physical Therapy at the modern university in serving the community
