Education:
1.  PhD degree in communication engineering from George Washington University, Washington D.C, U.S.A., May 1994. 

2.  Masters degree in communication engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, 1988.

3.  Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Military Technical Collage, 1981.


Work experience:
I had been working as an officer’s engineer in the Egyptian armed forces from July 1981 till December 2005. During that period I have been working in engineering, research and development fields as follows: 
1.  I had been working as a maintenance and repair engineer, from 1981 till 1989.

2.  I had been working as a teaching assistance while studying PhD program at George Washington University, from 1990 till 1993. 

3.  I had been working as a research officer at R&D center in the Egyptian armed forces from 1994 till 2000.

4.  I had been working as a senior research officer, from 2000 till 2003.

5.  I had been working as a Chief research officer, from 2003 up till 2005. 

6.  I had been working, as a lecturer of engineering and computer courses, at different military institutes includes: 
•   Military Technical College.
•   Air Defense College.
•   Military academy.
•   Military Technical Institute.
•   Military Institute for Computer Systems.

7.  I had been working as a visiting lecturer at Banha Institute of Technology, 2001.

8.  I had been working as a visiting lecturer at Engineering College, Misr University for Science and Technology at October City 2006.

9.  I had been working as a visiting lecturer at Engineering Division, Elshrouk Academy, 2006.

10.  I had been working as a visiting lecturer at High Institute for Computer Science and Information Systems, Culture and Science City October City, 2006.

11.  I had been working as a staff member at High Institute for Computer Science and Information Systems, Culture and Science City October City, from September 2006 to September 2007.

1.  I had been building Circuit Services Protocols (of INMARSAT AERONUTICAL SYSTEM) for Conformance Testing by using Specification and Description language SDL.

2.  I had been building a logical and physical test program for testing Equipments.

3.  I had been building an Automatic Central (PABX), Computer Based control.

4.  I had been building an interface to transfer data from Radar Equipment to Display it on a Computer, based on µc87C51 chip.

5.  I had been building an automatic switch to transfer voice between control centers, based on µc87C51 chip.

6.  I had been building a hardware security system for securing data information transferred between users within a computer networks, based on FPGA Spartan II chip.

7.  Active Networks research (supervision of PhD student).

8.  Optimization Techniques for Orbit Estimation and Determination to Control the Satellite Motion (supervision of PhD student).


Training Experience:
1-  I had a training of 5-month period at Teledyne Brown Engineering, On a Test Bench for Testing Electronic System Equipments, Huntsville, Alabama USA, 1985.

2 - I had a training for 2-weeks at Space school, Alcatel and EADS Companies in France, 2001.

3 - I attend Electronic and network workshops during presence in conferences in USA.
•  Twelfth Annual IEEE International ASIC/SOC Conference 1999 Washington, DC, USA.
•  2002 IEEE Aerospace Conference Big Sky Montana, USA.
