FACULTY OF
PHARMACY

Dean's Message

Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Modern University for Technology and Information (MTI). Our passion is preparing pharmacists for a career where they will make a difference across the spectrum of healthcare focused on medications.

Since its start, the school has grown tremendously offering high-quality education through diverse Pharmacy programs to deliver top-quality education with an emphasis on interprofessional education and teamwork.  Our faculty staff, administrators, alumni, and stakeholders are deeply committed to your success and your future. We have highly acclaimed professors, teaching assistants and lab technicians that are committed to excellence and innovation in teaching, service and outreach and are working collaboratively to fulfil your career hopes and dreams. In addition, the school is equipped with the latest laboratories and facilities to ensure optimum conditions for learning the latest in pharmaceutical sciences, drug manufacturing, health services, and clinical care.

Our Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program is a carefully designed program that combines basic science education with diverse clinical and interprofessional experiences in and outside of the classroom, where all training and support is provided by accomplished faculty staff. Importantly, the School has a very strong partnership with members of our Alumni and School Advisory Boards. These leaders work in all sectors of the pharmacy profession, in a variety of practice settings, and provide advice and direction to help prepare our students to be career-ready for a dynamic and transforming pharmacy career.

In addition to the traditional role of pharmacists as medication experts providing medications, counseling and drug information, pharmacists today provide clinical services that involve direct patient care and they act as essential members of integrated healthcare teams in a variety of practice settings. Accordingly in the year 2021/2022, the Faculty introduced a new program which is the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy program). This program offers solid, high-quality education having unique features equipping our graduates with skills to be competent, innovative and caring clinicians providing patient-centered care and population health.

We are very proud of our students, graduates and programs that are genuinely student-centered and thoughtfully delivered by qualified and dedicated professors and teaching staff. We also ensure our programs are small enough so we can get to know you personally and provide you with exceptional training and experiences to launch your professional career in any of the diverse pharmacy fields so you can make a real, meaningful difference in this world.

On behalf of myself and all the members of our governing bodies, I welcome you again to the Faculty of Pharmacy. I hope you will enjoy your time with us and make the most of all the opportunities open to you here.
