1. B.Sc. In Electrical Engineering (Computers), Military Technical College (M.T.C), July, 1979

2. M.Sc. In electronics and communications, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo university, Jan.1985 The title of the thesis is: "Design and Implementation of an Algebraic Language for a  Microcomputer Based Relational Database Systems."

3. Ph.D. in Computer Science, Canterbury, Kent, University of Kent at Canterbury, England U.K., 1990. The title of the thesis is “An Object-Oriented Query Processing Subsystem in a Heterogeneous Distributed Database Environment."

4. Lecturer in the Computer department Military Technical College in  21/9/1990.

5. Appointed as the chief of the Postgraduate studies affairs in the M.T.C. in    01  /   07  /2003  to 01/01/2004.

6. Appointed as the chief of the General Planning Branch in the M.T.C. in    01  /   01 /2004  to 01/01/2005.

7. Appointed as Head of the Computer Engineering Department in the Military Technical College in 01/01/2005 to 01/07/2006.

8. Appointed as Head of the Electrical Engineering Branch in the Military Technical College in 01/07/2006 to 01/01/2008.   

9. Appointed as Head of the Computer Science Department in the Faculty of Computer science in  the Modern university for Technology & Information (MTI) in 15/01/2008 to now
